When this Porsche 911 Turbo arrived at GlasWerks DMV, it had already been through two disappointing wrap jobs — both leaving behind uneven seams, lifting edges, and visible imperfections. The owner drove all the way from Dallas, Texas to Sterling, Virginia, trusting our team to restore his car to the level of quality it deserved.
Our process began by completely removing the old matte Miami Blue wrap, exposing a rough surface beneath. From there, we carefully prepped the body and wrapped the entire car — including door jambs and interior edges — in KPMF Satin Nero, a deep gray-black metallic finish that changes tone under different lighting conditions.
To protect the new wrap, we finished the vehicle with a STEK Final Coat ceramic coating, which provides UV resistance, weather protection, and hydrophobic performance to maintain that factory-fresh look for years.
Every detail was addressed, down to custom-cut decals inside the door jambs, ensuring the wrap looks as if it rolled straight out of Stuttgart wearing Satin Nero from the factory.
This project exemplifies what we do best at GlasWerks DMV — restoring confidence for enthusiasts who demand precision and finish that meets OEM-level expectations (and then some).
Whether you’re looking for a color-change vinyl wrap, paint protection film, or ceramic coating, our Sterling, VA facility combines artistry, experience, and technical precision to transform your vehicle and protect it for the long haul.
